Meeting time for planning!

As discussed on Sunday, we need to have a meeting about Saturday nights. Iam suggesting 730 on Mon. Nov. 5th. all of you need to respond in agreement or another time and date. I know we are all busy but it should only take 1 hour if we are positive, please think about stuff we could do as a group, any time spent prior to the meeting will make our get together more profitable.

We have Returned!

A nice relaxing time was had by myself and family on our half term break to St. Ives. The weather was wonderful considering the time of year, not a bad day at all.

Sorry I could not make it to the Saturday evening, but was tired after journey home, but by the sound of it it was well organised in my abscence, hopefully a good time was had by all?

Less than 1 week to the quiz night hopefully a good number of tickets have been sold, else desperate measures are called for!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday evening is at our house, looking forward to catching up.

Saturday/Sunday

Since Malcolm is away on his hols, I thought I would step in and look after the Blog for him -

Saturday as you should all know is an evening of activities at 32 Rosemary Way (need directions? go to google maps to find out.) And that will include pizza and drink - the event runs from 7.30-9.30.

This evening will include games and a short information slot about Uganda - which should be fun.

Sunday evening should be as usual, however, with Malcolm away on his holidays, I think we should all wait for him to contact us, as contacting him on his holidays is unfair and harsh, so we should all wait for him to tell us. :)

That about does it.

We are off on our Hols.

This Saturday we are off on our Hols. to Cornwall for a well deserved rest, as I mentioned on Sunday, hopefully after church will be at Phill's. Tim and Marianne will be taking the evening. I will post on the blog to confirm the venue.

Josh, are KIngs Kids doing anything for Halloween?

Rachel and Elisabeth I will let you have the tickets on Wednesday so you can sell them.

The rest of you can also (pressure) ask people to purchase tickets.

Answer to Robbie, there is nothing planned for this Saturday as it only happens bi-weekly.

Something will be sorted for Saturday 27th, I will be texting whilst on hols. to keep you all informed.

This weekend!

This Saurday its Video and chip night in the church, so bring some dosh for chips and we wait with anticipation as to what the film will be. Sunday after Church is at my house. The devotional this week is Rachel. Also it is good to see people joining in on the blog.

Rachel and Elisabeth, you need to confirm with your mums that they are willing to do the food for the quiz night? Only 22 days to go, YES only 22 days to go!

We will soon have to have a meeting and decide on a program for Saturday nights, so bring your diary on Saturday and we will decide a date. One of the items on the agenda (oh yes we will be doing this properly) will be a name for the group, so get those thinking caps on. I will also be giving you all some responsibilities.

Kings Kids

We had a really good night yesterday with loads of new faces! There must have been over 30 kids which is fantastic. Thanks to all who helped out all your hard work was greatly appreciated whether its playing in the music group, running a team, telling the story, preparing the activity, organising the game or generally helping out and tidying up at the end. One final note: Come on Pandas!

Wednesday Night Cafe.

Tonight is our Cafe night for the local Cowplain Youth, its the third time since we started our new programme. We have been seeing about 18 each cafe night, its a good time to chat have a coffee and a doughnut. Hopefully we will see the same faces tonight and who knows maybe some new ones.

The tickets for the Quiz night to raise funds for Elisabeth and Rachels Trip to Uganda will soon be printed and available for sale this Sunday. More info about this Event will published soon.

I will soon be off to the Sunday evening service, " Lessons in Leadership No.8" from the Book of Nehemiah, The Temptations of Leadership.
